Array

Subarray Inc uses a single unit of measure for the server capacity - :Node (1Nd). It's part of the Array Computing - concept and technology we've invented. After much consideration and discussion, we've decided to resize :Node to simplify calculations.

Now, :Node (1Nd) is defined as

  • CPU - 1/4th of Intel E5-2660 Thread
  • RAM - 1 GB
  • DISK - 20 GB
  • DISK - 3 IOPS per GB (or better)
  • LAN - Fast Ethernet

For example, server 8Nd in size will have 2 Intel e5-2660 Threads (2 vCPUs), 8 GB RAM, 160 GB of general purpose SSD with at least 480 IOPS read and write rating and 800 Mbps network connection.
